Anikia L. Brown, MS

President

Anikia is the Marketing and Communications Manager at the National League for Nursing (NLN), where she leads the strategic planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts. Anikia holds a Master of Science in Public Relations Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in marketing from Howard University.

Jeanette Gass, CAP, CNP

Secretary & Treasurer

Jeanette is Manager, Global Programs at the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) where she works on several programs including developing country, patient engagement, and grant initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit and Association Management from UMUC, a Master of Arts in Global Communication from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Anthropology from the University of Iowa.

Natasha Goodwin, MS, CAE

Membership Chair

Natasha serves as the Senior Director of Marketing and Membership at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI). In her role she sets the strategic direction for ITI’s brand awareness and membership activities including membership engagement and retention, advertising, research, and market expansion. She earned her Master of Science in Nonprofit and Association Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and her B.A. from Howard University.


Safiya Allsop

Programs Chair

Safiya J. Allsop, Deputy Chief of Staff at Urban Institute, is a skilled executive with an outstanding background in operations & administration, financial management, and program management. Her work has focused on creating strong and efficient operational processes and programs for  large Fortune 100 companies and smaller start-up organizations, and non-profit organizations. Safiya strives to create strong operational efficiencies to help them all reach their full potential.
